4-Day Explore Serengeti National Park and Lake Natron

After breakfast, you will leave Karatu and drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area with a picnic lunch box. You will drive up the crater highlands, making a quick stop at the rim for an out-of-this-world view of Ngorongoro Crater. This will be an unforgettable moment for anyone seeing it for the first time. As you progress well into the Serengeti, you will see why the name means, in Swahili, 'endless plains'.

The park has 6,900 sq. miles and for most of it, the plains will stretch to the horizon defying your senses and perception of distances. Hundreds of thousands of zebras, and all kinds of antelopes including the abundant impalas and Thomson's gazelles. You will continue the game drive for the whole day.

Once the game drives are done, you will drive to Kontiki Serengeti Camp for relaxation, dinner, and your overnight stay.

After a delicious breakfast, your tour guide driver will pick you up at your lodge with lunch boxes. You'll transfer to Lake Natron. You will visit waterfalls and Lake Natron, one of the most alkaline lakes in the world. Home to millions of tiny crustaceans, the lake is a haven for thousands of lesser flamingos and is one of the most important flamingo breeding grounds on earth. You will enjoy a refreshing swim in the river and under the waterfalls for a nice cool-down from the hot sun.

Once the activities are done, you will drive to Lake Natron Moivaro Tented Camp for relaxation, dinner, and an overnight stay.

After breakfast, you’ll spend some hours visiting the local village (Maasai People) and learn about their customs as a warrior community. Then, you'll be transferred to the airport (Arusha or Kilimanjaro) for your departure, back home, or to another destination.
